    I'm really sorry to hear about your challenges.

    But I have to say, how great that his teacher cares enough to help figure things out! 

    My nephew has "something going on" and his teacher even brought it up with SIL.  But my SIL sort of brushed it off and thought a little thing here and a little thing there solved the problem.  I've got news for you, SIL, putting your head in the sand and not acknowledging a problem will not make it go away...you are doing your son a disservice by not addressing it!  It makes me really sad.

    Kudos to you and his teacher for going to bat for your son and finding solution to help him through his struggles!
