Just get a trim. I have done this with DD and it wasn't that bad. I took her to a real salon and she loved teh whole experience and her her hair is easier to manage.

Why are you cutting it?

It doesn't look straggly or anything --- and in that pic, it's nowhere near her butt (so not outrageously long or anything).

I was really sad too but it made B's hair look so much better and I'm actually going to take her for her second trim next week.

It's so pretty!  A trim, even just a couple inches does make a huge difference.  Much easier to manage.

I don't know....it is just getting really hard to manage, always tangled and I hate battling her at least twice a day to get it combed.
