Have you seen the movie The Strangers

Does anyone know anything about the true story that inspired the movie?

    It was a VERY lOose interpretation based pretty much solely on two people found dead in a house. It was so scary! Maybe thw only movie that has ever scared me...including paranormal activity... If you likes the strangers check out Funny Games. Its a remake of a foreign horror film and it is pretty well done. I liked it a lot.

    I usually have no problem with scary movies, but this one definitely creeped me out. I'll have to check out Funny Games. . . There's some sort of allure to scaring yourself, isn't there. . . .? :-)

    Yes, I've seen The Strangers, and it totally creeped me out. I wish I hadn't seen it, though - since the plot is something that COULD happen in real life (and it supposedly losely based on a true story).

    Unfortch, I'm a glutton for punishment when it comes to scary movies. I really don't want to watch them, but can't stop myself. However, I will not, I repeat, WILL NOT be seeing Paranormal  Activity. Never, ever, ever!
