9 Month Old Sleep Regression

Our not-so-great but not totally awful sleeper has become a supremely craptastic sleeper. As a result, he's been beyond fussy and clingy ALL DAY LONG.

Just as I was about to pull my hair out, I came across this article about the Nine Month Sleep Regression. I think Ty was such a craptastic sleeper all along we didn't really notice.

Just thought I'd share for those of you who are experiencing it, about to experience it, or have already been there.

If you have been through it, how long did it last? We are on week two : (

Totally makes sense because we had to resort to CIO at 9 months with Ryan and take away his middle of the night feeding (per pedi's orders).

Interesting. Jake has been waking at least once a night screaming. Not fussing. Not whining. Screaming. He then guzzles an 8 ounce bottle in the blink of an eye. It was completely baffling me why he would be waking when he is eating a ton during the day. The waking doesn't really bother me so much as the grumptastic clingy baby. I just want my happy kiddo back.

  • He isn't teething ?

    He isn't teething ?

It's hard for me to get a good look in, but I don't see anything. I would not be surprised if he was- he still has NO teeth. It's shocking to us as Ty had so many at this point.

totally tough to know right ? I just remember Cam at 5 months turning into a bad sleeper/clingy baby for at least 2-3 weeks before I could see any signs of teeth !! Hope it gets getter soon for you

  • Ugh, that sounds like no fun!  I hope it passes quickly!  And I am so not looking forward to this!
