    I have girls, and I was going to suggest the Melissa and Doug birthday cake and/or pizza. DD#1 got it for her 2nd b-day. She will be 4 in December and she still plays with it almost every single day, and so does DD#2. I really think it would be a hit with a boy or a girl. They also have a play pizza set that is similar.
