Fun things to do on Halloween?

I really want to make Halloween something fun for DS. I am going to wake him up with pumpkin shaped pancakes, off to the park, and then trick or treating...We have already been to the pumpkin patch and will carve our pumpkin tonight. Can anyone think of any other fun activities for a 2 year old. Thanks!

  • My mom sent James a cute cookie/muffin pan with different Halloween shapes. So far we have made sugar cookies, cupcakes and pumpkin bread in it. He got to decorate the cookies with orange and black sprinkles which he loved. We also painted mini pumpkins today which was a hit. All of his activities this week-music, storytime, art, gym are all Halloween themed so he is wearing his costume to all his activities too.

  • I would bake halloween shaped cookies with him and let him put all the springles on them.  You could also make him into a mummy....wrap him up in toilet paper (I am having a halloween party with some little one's and we are going to do that).  We are also doing some crafts....I printed jack o lanterns, spiders and witche coloring pages from the internet for the kids to color.  I also cut out all types of halloween shapes from contruction paper and the kids are going to paste them onto a sheet of construction paper to create a halloween scene.   I would google on the internet some halloween crafts - there are a lot of ideas out there.
