I have a silly question. We have a loaner right now since our Nissan is in the shop. The owners manual is not in the glovebox.

I tried to get gas today, but could not find the tank release button anywhere. It has to be in plain sight because I've looked everywhere else, lol. So, where is your tank release button?

It's on the floor on the driver side.  (I usually have to open the door to fit my arm down there).  I hope this makes sense.

I found it! I knew it had to be in plain sight. I was looking for a button, not a latch. Ah, now I can get gas. Thank you!
