I think some people are missing a good point too, Like she gave up the child to have a better life, I couldn't do it even if i were a teen but she did what was best for the baby, granted its just a movie but to me it was a happy ending someone got a child they couldn't have. JMHO.
Re: Juno
Blah... me too.
Why? I have never seen it... I want to but DS is still up and insists on sitting with me I will look it up on ondemand later!
Me too for several reasons.
1. People are not that witty IRL all the time.
2. Teen pregnancy is glorified
3. I hate that they go back to their lives like nothing happened after the baby is born. That really irked me.
I liked the movie as an adult, if I had a child or teenager ...I wouldn't want them to see it.
I love that movie. You just have to take it for what it is- an unrealistic but hilarious movie.
I just hate that it glorifies teen pregnancy and I totally would not want my teenager to watch it.
This.
