That getting family pictures stresses me out more than anything else right now!

I don't mean that the kids shouldn't goof off and run around like crazy in an open field but could they at least look at the photographer while they are rolling around in the mud?

Seriously, I am so fvcking tired and it was just an 1.5 hours long.

I hear ya.  I took DS and my niece on Monday to get photos taken, and it was ridiculous how difficult it was to get them both to look at the camera, sit next to each other, etc.  I bet they turned out really cute though!  Can't wait to see the pictures!

I know what you mean.  Those "memories" last a lifetime, so if they look like crap, then you get pissed for spending the money on them!

They are just so I could get a family photo. I will be suckered into the prints when she shows me them. There were so many that she showed me right off the camera that I am going to need.

She charged 1/2 her fee and I get Christmas cards. This way I don't procrastinate and not send cards out! Now I  just have to reign in my spending so DH doesn't get pissy when I order.

I bet they turn out great. You always get great pictures of them! Confession:I have never had pro pics done of James. There are so many photogs I like but none that I have found in CO and I don't want to pay for someone who isn't awesome. Did you figure out a new outfit for Miles?

I feel ya.  That's about the most anxiety provoking activity I willingly sign us up for over and over again.  And every single time I think, "Why in thehell don't I just take their pictures myself?  Then I can discipline them at my leisure without an audience AND not have to pay $$ for an embarrassing 2 hours worth of hog tying!"  Of course, the answer to that question is "because your photos suck in comparison to the pro's" hence the vicious cycle continues.
