Alright ladies, I'm sure most of you already know that my older brother is getting married on Halloween night, in NYC, on the Brooklyn Bridge (supposedly) and all the guests will be in costume.
Both my brother and his fiance are artists and are totally wacky. I was just talking to their BFF who is going to perform the ceremony (he's planning to dress like Kim Kardashian) about setting up a surprise for during the ceremony.
I was thinking about something fun/funny with a creative toss item or something fun when they finish their vows or something to fun because they won't have any ceremony music. Any ideas?
I don't want to do anything that would take attention away from them, just something fun and celebratory. My one idea was getting those plastic hand clapper things, but that might be too tacky. Can you think of anything???
Re: Need some creative ideas!!!! NGPR
They are actually going to be dressed very formally, formal dress and full tux that he bought! I was shocked!
So while their life is pretty tacky in general (in a good way) I don't want to do anything that is so silly it takes the attention away from their day.
If I can't think of something great then I won't do anything at all. But I'm really hoping to come up with something.

Thanks Lolo!
I really should have thought of it sooner, but I've been helping with all the real plans so hadn't thought about extra stuff until right now.

This, a thousand times this!
I like the idea of clappers.
That's the biggest issue. You aren't allowed to get married on the bridge at all. I tried to convince them to get a permit and do the ceremony in the park on the Brooklyn side and then go onto the bridge for their pictures. NOPE. So it's very likely all 34 of us will get shuffled along by the cops. So I do need to be careful about what we plan!
I like the sparklers idea too.
I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to come up with anything
