Anyone have experience with this?

Sorry in advance for the lame question, but I didn't experience this with either of my previous pregnancies. Last night I started having a very intense amount ofpressure on the inside of the very top of my legs. It's painful to walk or change position from sitting to standing. Just curious if anyone else experienced this at the end of their pregnancy. I am guessing maybe the baby has dropped? TIA!

  • My cousin just had her 3rd baby last week.  She had that pain for a good few months.  Her ob said it was because everything was just more pliable since it was her 3rd, so she could feel things more.

  • Yes, I had that with both! Very painful! And I don't think it was from the baby dropping because it happened LONG before either was even head down.

  • I had that too. It wasn't pain - more of an intense soreness.  It's actually one of the only bad parts of pregnancy that I still remember.  (That, and his hiccups)

  • I had this as well.  My midwife told me it was because the normally immobile pelvic joint becomes flexible to help you deliver.  I was actually scheduled for physical theraphy but after a few days the pain eased.
