We JUST figured out that the base can be adjusted which would help prevent kids heads from flopping forward.  DS used this seat and DD is 10mos old and will be moving to her new TruFit really soon.  I feel like a moron but have a feeling we are not the only ones.

Now you are making me second guess whether we have made all the necessary adjustments!  Do mean you just figured out that little dial that either shows or doesn't show the orange in the window to show it's level?  Or did you figure something else out?

No, I bought the premiere one...I missed the Woot one.  DS was ready waaay sooner than DD.

No, we found out that the actual base has something in the front that you can adjust.  It is not a necessary adjustment but could have helped especially when she was tiny and had bad torticolis.

haha don't feel like an idiot, we totally missed that "feature" with DS #1, and didn't realize it with DS #2 until my dad pointed it out when we were putting the base in my mom's car.  We used towels to "elevate" it with DS #1..haha.. could of skipped the towels had we of seen that part in the front that "pulls" down..

Well, we were idiots right along with you.

We used a rolled towel to level it with DS, and then as I was installing it for DD, I discovered that thing on the base that did the same thing.

She was only in the baby bucket for 4 months, though. Both of my kids HATED that seat and were in convertibles at 4 months old.
