TAG or Leapster reading system?

I am considering getting one of them for Ethan this Chrismukkah.  He spends a ton of time in that aisle at Target and he's always on my computer w/ an interactive Dr. Seuss program we've got.  

I just don't know which one to get--anyone have suggestions?  Pros and cons of either? or is it basically 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of another?

    DS has the TAG reader and he loves it.  Each book can be read or there are games throughout the book to play.  I like that he can play it independently.

    no reviews yet - DS is getting Tag and DD is getting Tag Jr. for Christmas.  Both are seriously crazy about books, so it was a no-brainer for me.

    We got the PONGO (alot like tag, but a lot cheaper) for christmas last year and DD loved it. It broke so this year DD is getting the Tag.

    DD is getting the Tag.  She is already talking about how she wants this so she can read before going to sleep in her bed at night.
