yaaay! I'm lovin' everyone in this post right now.
Ging, the oven search didn't happen..dh had to work late. I think we're going to go look for one on Saturday. I cooked dinner tonight on our camping stove!! hahaha.

Oh my gosh, that's too funny. What did you make on this camping stove? So you're oven and stove are broken? Sorry, that's a pretty dumb question. I guess they would come hand in hand.
hehe...yep, they're both broken. doh! Not an expense we can afford right now, but it was bound to happen. Our stove was ancient!
I cooked my first recipe from my Trader Joe's cookbook.. it's a rice noodle dish with their asian style ribs on top. SO good! I took pics that I'm going to put on my blog later tonight, and I'll probably include the recipe.
What are you up to tonight?

I feel ya. Unexpected expenses suck. I wouldn't be surprised if our oven crapped out soon. I think it's from the seventies.
Trader Joe's has a cookbook? I must get this. That sounds like a pretty good meal for cooking it on a camping stove. I'm impressed.
I'm not up to much tonight. DH just walked in but I'm a little peeved since he said he would be home over 2 hours ago. Ah well, I can never stay mad for long. Plus it was kinda nice just hanging out on here while watching Top Chef and drinking wine:)
What kind of wine you drinking? I opened up something good for our wine date, hehe. Do you like Sauvignon Blanc? I already can't remember what it's called.
Ooh..bad boy, coming home late!! Sometimes it's nice to have some you time at home. Dh just left to go back to work and won't be home until after midnight, so I'll be up late! I can never fall asleep while he's gone. But, I'm watching girly shows now!
I do like Sauvignon Blanc.. I almost bought one today actually and went with the Pinot Grigio instead. It's just a Barefoot, but it's gooood!
So, a little update.. this is my last month on clomid.. then we go to one unmedicated cycle (we can try still, just no clomid), followed by IUI. eek. I never thought it would come to this, but I'm rollin' with it and just looking forward to something working for us.

So what's the reason for an unmedicated cycle? Of course, I don't think anybody really thinks that it will come to an IUI when they first start TTC, but I can definitely see how that would be something to look forward to. I wish I could just skip right to that, lol.
I know Ck, I got my hopes up after all that sexin. This was a rough one, but I'm moving on .. it's just crazy that I might be doing IUI in January. Never would have guessed that when we started trying last October. Oh well, as Cathy would say - onwards!
How are you & the babe? And I think it's time to update your blog with some baby u/s pics!

He's a fiber optic engineer.. sounds fancier than it is really. He has to go supervise someone digging near their lines or something. haha. I'm so clueless when it comes to his job.
They have to do a bunch of screening/tests on me or us, so the meds would probably alter those results. Doing the IUI is sort of exciting because I know we'll have better odds of getting ku.. but at the same time I know a lot of people have multiple IUI's.. and my insurance doesn't cover them, so we're looking at around $1500 a pop. Luckily, I talked to my mom yesterday and she wants to help us with the cost. Phew!

I feel those SoCal babies coming on. I really do!!
I'm doing ok! Some parts of being pg are seriously for the birds, but I am hoping that some things go the way of the dodo when first tri wraps up in a few weeks. Blah.
Gawd- my blog seems to have gone the way of the dodo lately too. I will update tomorrow!

Now I'm a little more ticked about your broken oven. That could be, like, another IUI or 2
Ck, I can't believe you're only a few weeks from 2nd tri! How exciting Yay to updating the blog! ..So, are you still job searching, or taking a break from that?
& I hope you're right about socal babies.. we need 'em!

Thanks, sweets!! We have to make the appointment for it to be done. I think the results are quick. We've just been dragging our feet a bit. I think we're both nervous of the results.
Glad to see your mom wants to help. My parents have offered to help us too.
