POAS early- weekday vs. weekend?

First off, I know I should not POAS early, but I have internet cheapies and I'm a POAS addict.  However, this cycle, I'm going to try to hold out until 13dpo on Saturday.  I'm thinking if it were surprising and actually positive I would rather do it on Saturday and have all weekend for it to soak in before work on Monday, whereas if I POAS and got a positive during the week, I think it would be difficult to concentrate during the workday.  So I'm wondering if anyone thinks about this when deciding when to POAS.

TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    I have thought about this, but unfortunatly in a negative way. I rather not get a bfn right before I have to go into work.

    I agree with you....I think if I got a BFP on a work day I would be way to excited to go to work.  Try to hold off til Saturday or at least Friday!

    I would def. try to wait till 13 dpo. I wish you the best of luck!!

    I tested at 14 dpo and had the faintest line.

    I did it on a Friday last time.  Mostly because I wanted to know if I could drink or not that night....that probably makes me sound like an alcholic.  Haha.

    I never really thought about it!  I would take a BFP any time but I guess it would be hard to work after finding out.

    I would rather test on the weekend myself, but I wouldn't wait say 4 days just to get to the weekend, if I thought I should be testing.  I am not that patient.

    I'm in the same boat i'm 11 dpo and i am going to try and wait till ths saturday but i want to test so bad especially since my temp went up this morning.  Try to hold out.  When i was KU with DS i found out during the week and it was so hard not to act excited during that week since my blood work took 2 days to come back.

    I always test on the weekend so I have time to let it sink in.  I honestly couldn't make it through a productive workday if I got a BFP and had to go to work.
