Only b/c my 4 yr old son is obsessed with him at the moment, YES. Why did cartoon makers do this to us? We were raised with characters named Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, and She-Ra..... no worries about name conflicts, there!
Not to me. But I speak Spanish, so it's just a name. To many just English speakers, I think they will associate it with Dora. I spoke Spanish and heard this name many times before Dora though, so I like it.
