because she didnt buy any of the good stuff....no chocolate whatsover lol   So jokingly I told her that her house is gonna get egged because she's always have gotten the good stuff lol

At least your mom bought candy. I'm not even planning on buying any candy this year b/c we rarely get trick or treaters, I'm planning to take the kids to family houses during the day while DH is working so family can see them all dressed up and then when DH goes home we're going trick or treating in the neighborhood so we won't be home. Besides, we have a house that is one of 5 houses "outside" the neighborhood so no one ever comes here. One year I was CHASING kids around the neighborhood to take the bags I made up b/c I spent a ton of money on glowsticks and the like LOL.

We never get any kids anymore.  They've all grown up.  But I make my DH stay home anyway...just in case.  I always have some candy bars (the BIG ones) and told him that if he runs out...get out the quarters (I figure they are better than nothing!).  One year someone stopped just because she thought the house was decorated so cute she couldn't pass it up!  HA HA  She did have 3 kids with her (they were on their way home).  They have to DRIVE to our house...we have a 350 foot long driveway...up-hill.  lol

we get maybe 3-4 people.  every year it is less because the kids get older and graduate.  i live on a BIG hill.  so not many people make the trip up. 

we buy 1-2 bags of stuff we like, and give all the kids 2-3 pieces of candy!!
