H1N1 vac question for the ones not doing it?

Do you get the regual flu shot every year?  I am not getting neither is dd the H1N1 and I never do the normal flu one either for her.  I do know if the H1N1 was out a few mos eailer it would have been added to the normal flu shot.  So would you have still did the normal flu shot if it was added?
