Disney w/ 3yo What shouldn't we miss?

We are taking DD to Disney later today.  It has been years since I have been there.  What are your don't miss activities?  TIA

  • Magic Kingdom I assume?  I would make sure to get to It's a Small World, The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, the Carousel and Dumbo for sure.  And of course Toon Town if she loves the princesses...they are in the big tent.

Snow White is a little scary, and for some ungodly reason Peter Pan always has the longest line in the world.  So does Ariel. I don't know how much time you have.

  • I've heard the must sees are Dumbo and Small World

  • We have almost 4 days this trip.  We have season passes and live 1 1/2 hrs. from Disney.
  • What other parks are you doing?  I can give you a lot more suggestions that way.  DD was 3 last trip, It;s fresh in my mind what she loved.

Also, is she OK with characters?  I know some kids are afraid of giant mice and all.

  • One thing for sure, if you have never been and have the extra money, get tickets for the Halloween party.  Best parade and fireworks, in my opinion, of all the Disney special events.

  • We were just there last month. DD's favorites and she was exactly 3 years old were #1 Snow Whites Scarey Adventure, Peter Pan, Ariels Grotto, Biddity Boddity Boutique and getting all dressed up and the kids roller coaster across from Minnie's House. She keeps talking about them daily and we are going back in January...we are addicted now;)

  • Oh...I forgot Goofy's roller coaster!  DD loves that too.  Bibbity Bobbity will be awfully hard to get into on such short notice.
  • Thanks for the tips.  Heidishawn, I am glad you are going back to Disney.  We are going to the Halloween party and lunch w/ the Princesses.  Heidishawn, I am the girl from Scranton who was craving some Old Forge pizza in the worst way!  I hope you are doing well :-)
  • We loved animal kingdom.  Not as many rides, but we loved walking around and seeing everything.  Don't miss the Lion King show and the Nemo show.  Have a great time.  DS LOVED LOVED LOVED Disney.
