Has anyone read this yet? I believe its relatively new [could be wrong] but I checked it out from the library last week. I don't know how I feel about it. I've learned a few things but some of it seems conflicting to what I've read other places.
If you've read it, what did you think?
Re: What to Expect BEFORE You're Expecting...
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

I knew there was a reason I never felt compelled to read it.

Lol!! What makes you say that?
Ah....noted.

I read it and liked it. I liked that it was easy and quick to get through. I didn't read the advanced fertility treatment sections (saving that for if its necessary) and I got through it in one evening. This is a major pro for me, as I'm in graduate school and already have plenty of reading to do. I like how it has little sections for the "dad to be" to read. I don't like how it can be kinda corny in places, using puns and what not. I can practically picture the author and her editor sitting there going "hey...good one!" Its easy to reference if I forget about something.
I think it just depends on how in depth you want to go. I haven't read TCOYF, but from what I heard its very comprehensive. We've just started TTC, and I felt like my "bases" were covered with the What to Expect book and what I've learned on Fertility Friend. I recommend it!
This just showed up at my local library.. I pick it up tomorrow. I've also ordered TCOYF from Amazon based on all of the recommendations I've read here. I look forward to reading both.
