    Potato soup, hashbrowns, potato pancakes, can you freeze a ton of mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving?

    Lol, that must be the same place my parents go!  Last year they came home with two 50 pound bags. They keep them in the basement so they last longer and basically told us to help ourselves whenever we wanted them. So between my family, them, and my sister and her daughter we used almost all of them no problem before they started to go bad.  The last few that were starting to get mushy we made a chowder with.
