I was just diagnosed with this today. It is really painful and the doctor warned that I might soon move from just pain to start walking into walls, falling down, and lose strength in my arms (already happening). I am going to start physical therapy Friday, injections, and possibly take some sort of muscle relaxers to help manage the pain. Ultimately, I will need surgery, but I can't have it yet, since DS is so young (7 months), I still BF, and I need for him to be about 2 before I could care for him well enough afterward.
I just want to cry.
If anyone has had it or know someone who has, did they have the surgery? How did it come out?
Re: Anyone ever had central and foraminal Stenosis?
I don't know anyone personally with this but saw a show on it once. The person responded really well to injections and was almost 100% back to normal. Then suddenly she started having problems again, falling over etc, but it turned out she was pregnant! So the pregnancy caused her to relapse. After having the baby she managed to get back to a really good level, though it did take time.
I'm sure you must be nervous, its scary, especially with kids involved and having to take care of them.
Good luck
