So I have been doing some reading on Vanishing Twin Syndrome and now I am scared.
How common is it?
I had my 1st ultrasound at 7 wks which I am reading is early detection....I am sure I am making it worse but I was just curious if anyone had any idea about how common it is.
Re: How common is Vanishing Twin Syndrome
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
they estimate that high because they believe many women have it but never know about it... it's a guess. Most women do not have US's done that early.
try not to worry about it... you are 9 weeks, which is good- you've alraedy seen heartbeats I assume- which lowers the risk of m/c a lot, in any type of pg.
you will worry your entire pregnancy - and then even worse when the babies are out in the real world- it's a fun thing with being a mom- worry You just have to learn how to deal with it. I recommend NOT reading up on things that MIGHT happen to you- esp things you can not prevent... it will only scare you.
