Really, enough already. ?Take a nap, read a book, just do something other than stew over your girly boy name choice. ?If anyone needs to be feeling embarrassed, it's the girl who asks for opinions on a public baby name message board then has a hissy fit when 100% of the responses aren't to her liking.
Buh-bye now.?

I am so done with you and your disproportinate anger towards anyone who suggests that possibly there may be a female somewhere in this world named Reid. It's clear you are teetering on the brink of sanity and I do not want to be the one to push you over the edge (Well, let me take a step back - I am pretty sure my very innocent response at 9 am this morning has already caused you to spiral into insanity in the 7 hours that have since passed).
2. I'm glad I don't live in the South because I don't even like unisex names, let alone names that (to me) are traditionally male being used for females.
3. I think "Emmerson" looks misspelled and don't understand why an extra "m" makes it feminine.

This is the ONLY thing I don't care for about the south. My future son will probably marry a girl named Ryan or Tyler lol.

Don't forget #4. The Wire was a criminally underwatched show and Idris Elba is a sex panther.

I am really glad that I don't know what BSC stands for. I'm sure you learned that while amassing your 10 billion posts. Some of us have lives outside of the "interwebs."
Oh and I don't live in Baltimore. There is also a harbor in Annapolis.
Also, you should learn the difference between anger and disdain. I haven't had an angry thought all day.
This is calling to mind those graphics from the Knot of the dead horse getting beaten over and over.....harbor, I even AGREE with you that Reid is an odd name for a girl, but if you can't see that your tone was insane, you're going to have much bigger problems than Reid v. Leo.
the sad thing is, harborview, you will not lose the branding of "psychotic reid lady" for quite a long time.
it's a shame, really... nobody on this board who was present today (or goes back to read your 70+ response post on any future occasion) will ever take you seriously again. there goes your chance of replacing reid with anything more studly.
then again, let me save you the trouble. why don't you name your child Testosterone? you can call him Testy... just like mama!

I just got caught up after being away from the names board all day and this is my summary, too. Will I get in trouble for copying your homework, Valentine?
I'm having a girl and thinking about naming her Leo. It's kinda cute.

What was the original post? I'm curious. Was it the Reid vs. Leo one--I can't find it.

Testosterone #1 choice! It is perfect the only name in the world that is not fair game for a girl

Dude, you are going a little nuts here.

You my dear, are what we like to call around here, a whackadoo.
And if the spawn is a girl, her middle name will be Reed. ::gasp::
Yes. I used colons. ::double gasp::
I think that enough bandwidth has been used up on this "debate" already.
um, this.
Maybe Mrs. Harborview has spent a little too much time on the hard streets of Baltimore.
I think I saw her on The Wire.

Oh dude. That show was SO good.
Seriously, it was an amazing show. And it bestowed Idris Elba upon the world for which I will be eternally grateful.

Amen.
I know what I've learned from all this:
1. harborview is BSC.
2. I'm glad I don't live in the South because I don't even like unisex names, let alone names that (to me) are traditionally male being used for females.
3. I think "Emmerson" looks misspelled and don't understand why an extra "m" makes it feminine.
