Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Possibly stupid question

A squashed her head up against her crib at some point last night and slept that way for the rest of the night.  When we woke her up there was a line on her head (kind of like pillow lines on your face when you wake up) and it was still there when I dropped her at daycare.  The only reason it's kind of freaking me out is that it's across her soft spot in the front.  I'm being ridiculous by worrying about this, right?

Re: Possibly stupid question

  • Ds does this a lot and the lines always go away eventually (an hour or so).  I used to try to move him away from the crib sides but that always wakes him up.

  • I think for it to hurt her she'd have to be squished up really hard and have tons of pressure.  I think she'll be fine.  Jack slept weird in his stoller and had a weird mark like that the other day.  It went away after about two hours or more.  I'd just keep an eye on it.
  • Thanks ladies! Embarrassed LOL
