It could go either way. I had a + OPK the day I O'ed because I realized that morning with my temp I hadn't O'ed yet (from the last + OPK) and decided to start taking them again that AM. By the afternoon it was negative again.

I just took one, and I know your really shouldn't this early, but it was positive. I think I O'd yesterday though. Is that possible? I had negatives a few days ago. But I also had this problem last month where I didnt get Positive OPK's until AFTER FF said I O'd.

It's not that you can't in the morning but for people only testing once a day, the surge usually starts in the afternoon so if you take it in the AM, but you started surging the previous afternoon then you missed the previous day to have intercourse because you didn't test again until the next morning. For the morning I had a + OPK, if I had taken one the previous afternoon it probably would have been + too.

As to your other question, I have no idea but it seems odd.
