DS's tooth is chipped!!

So, after DH got home from work today, he told me that he thought he saw a chip in one of DS's front teeth.  I look later, and sure enough, there was just a tiny little chip.

I don't know how long it's been there.  But it does certainly look like a chip, although you wouldn't be able to see it if you weren't looking closely.

I feel terrible because I have no idea when this would have happened.  I can't remember at all any time that he bumped his mouth, let alone hit something hard enough to chip a tooth!

I feel terrible because I really don't know when it would have happened.  The good thing is that it doesn't look deep enough to cause any pain.

Re: DS's tooth is chipped!!

  • Does DS go to daycare?
  • Loading the player...
  • No, but he used to.  I was in the classroom next to him (it was a cubicle-like set-up and I could see over there) and I would have imagined I would have heard about it.

I guess I don't even know if that's something that could happen easily... or how hard he would have to hit for it to happen.

When DH first told me about it, I thought it was probably just the way his tooth naturally was shaped, but it really doesn't look like it.

  • How strange.  I guess it's nothing to worry about.  You must have a tough guy!
