DS's tooth is chipped!!

So, after DH got home from work today, he told me that he thought he saw a chip in one of DS's front teeth.  I look later, and sure enough, there was just a tiny little chip.

I don't know how long it's been there.  But it does certainly look like a chip, although you wouldn't be able to see it if you weren't looking closely.

I feel terrible because I have no idea when this would have happened.  I can't remember at all any time that he bumped his mouth, let alone hit something hard enough to chip a tooth!

I feel terrible because I really don't know when it would have happened.  The good thing is that it doesn't look deep enough to cause any pain.

Does DS go to daycare?

No, but he used to.  I was in the classroom next to him (it was a cubicle-like set-up and I could see over there) and I would have imagined I would have heard about it.

 

I guess I don't even know if that's something that could happen easily... or how hard he would have to hit for it to happen.

When DH first told me about it, I thought it was probably just the way his tooth naturally was shaped, but it really doesn't look like it.

How strange.  I guess it's nothing to worry about.  You must have a tough guy!
