M still has a really stuffy snot filled nose. She's really having a hard time breathing. I have now tried benadryl (worked once) and rondec (prescribed). We only gave her the benadryl for her rash and it happened to work on her nose as well.
Anyway... she runs like I'm chasing her with a chainsaw if I even show her the saline or snot sucker. I have been using the humidifier. I have raised the head of her crib. I have given her tylenol (motrin doesn't work well for her) in the hopes that if it's her teeth causing this, maybe some of the inflammation will go down.
Any other helpful hints? I'm out of ideas.
How about vicks babyrub on the feet? Does this work? Do I just put it on & rub it in? Leave it goopy & put socks on over that?

No personal experience but I've heard it works-sit in the bathroom and get it all super steamy w/ hot water and just let her play in there a bit. Works a bit better than a vaporizer/humidifer b/c it very warm, not just moist. HTH.
ETA-I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels as if I'm killing my kid w/ the saline and boogie sucker.
GTK! I am so buying this... our vaporizer was great the first few days but then it started making noises and keeping her awake! thanks!
yeah we have one plugged in. We're breathing great. She still isn't.
