Which sounds like more fun? Re: DD's birthday party

I was thinking of just having the kids at the house for cupcakes (Pinkalicious, of course) and then having them either decorate a little pumpkin for Thanksgiving or have them decorate a ornament for Christmas.

I am torn on what for them to do...The party is only going to be an hour and a half, so I only need like 1 thing for them to do.

Do you have to have them do something?  That seems like a short period of time to have cake, open presents and do something crafty.  We haven't started with the friend parties yet, so I may be out of the loop on what the norm is though.

I think a Thanksgiving activity would be better. It depends on how many kids though. If you are having a lot of them, then I might not do an activity at all.

There is only going to be 7 kids including DD.
