Anyone on this board actually have H1N1

I am not on here often so I am sorry if this same question has been repeated 100 times.

What are you symptoms if you have it.  Did you have a high fever or no fever.  I have something going on...basic cold or something but I am a little nervous as I see lots of scary posts on H1N1.

  • I'm convinced I had it, but my doctor doesn't do diagnostic tests for it unless you are a child or it could be life threatening. I had pretty mild symptoms (fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, body aches, chills), but it led to me getting a pretty serious case of pneumonia.

  • Looks like ds had it from Thursday til late last night.  He had a very high fever (104), runny nose, achey and run-down.  And the high fever induced a lot of vomiting in the beginning.  According to several mothers I've talked to, this has been some of the consistent symptoms.  I spoke with the Dr on Saturday morning who just recommended plenty of fluids, rest and alternating Motrin and Tylenol for the fever.  Honestly, it wasn't a huge deal for us except for getting the medicine in my crazy child.  (See poll below).  And we had a case of the hives yesterday for some strange reason.
  • Pretty sure, but we were not tested.  My fever was 104 and dd's was 105 for about 3 days (both of us).  Some congestion, ache all over and we slept a good 20 hours a day. That was what actually scared me with dd.  I almost had her blood tested because she was sleeping way too much for over a week.  It really kicked her butt.
  • I was exposed last week and put on rpeventative Tamiflu since I am pg.  So far I haven't come down with it, and I am almost past the window of ctaching it, thank god!
