Matthew is so miserable, and I feel like the worst mom because I can't make it better for him. ?His fever is gone as of this morning, but he's just sad and nothing makes him happy for more than 30 seconds. ?I know his mouth sores must be killing him, and I think he has a sore throat. ?Poor little man. ?I hope this passes quickly.

I'm sorry. My friends little girl had it last year and it was AWFUL for her.. Like you said, the mouth sores were the worst part, I think.. she could hardly swallow.

I feel your pain - Joseph was the same way with it.  2-3 days where he just was so miserable and didnt want to eat because it hurt.  Just try and comfort him as much you can - it will pass though!

first, (((big hugs))) to you. ds had this when he was 6 months old and it SUCKED!! he didn't have the mouth sores but he had the rash and was unhappy for about a week. i, on the other hand, got it from him and ended up with the mouth sores. fun times.
