NPR: Anyone know anything about surgery? Twilight sleep?

I am having foot surgery tomorrow and will be in a twilight sleep. It is an hour long procedure. They won't give me a catheder will they?

DH has had twilight done for a hand procedure. He was not cath'd. You are still awake; he had to be awake to bend his finger. It was so much better than general. I picked him up about an hour after surgery. He was fully awake, had great color and was even hungry.

No catheter.  Just and IV and likely some supplemental oxygen.
