Put the damn tools needed in the 'tools and materials needed' section.
When it says that what is needed is:
Pattern paper
1 yard of fabric
2 yards of single-fold bias tape
10 inches of thin ribbon
Sewing supplies
I don't assume I need a 'loop turner'
Yes, I should have read all the directions, but, I've never ever heard of this. I had (until I googled just now) NO IDEA what a 'loop turner' was. and I certainly don't own one. In fact, I just went through 2 sewing boxes I inherited--apparently grandma didn't own one either so they can't be *that* commonplace.
Now I'm going to have to put the project on hold until NEXT weekend when I'll have time to buy one.
Re: dear whoever wtites martha-stewarts crafts...
(and thus far, neither the needle and thread trick nor a crochet hook has worked. I have offically given up.
Chances are, I'm going to stop and buy some pre-made bias loop :-P)

(its SO not going to be done in time for a baby shower...*sigh*)
Oops, I was just about to suggest both of those.
I dunno. I think I may re-do the bias tape for the ties and just not turn it inside out.
But I've mangled this piece to much to not toss it.
