So... anyone want 2 under 2?

DH and I want to start TTC our second baby when DD is about 9 months old.  The few people we've told tell us we're crazy for wanting two babies so close together.  We've been EXTREMELY lucky with DD.  She's such an easy baby (so far!).  She's been STTN since she was about 2 months old and just started putting herself to sleep (no more nursing and rocking to sleep!) two weeks ago.  Everyone seems to think THIS is why we think we want to have our next baby so soon but we knew we wanted our babies to be close in age before we had DD.  Now I wish we hadn't told anyone our plans!  Anyway, just wondering if others are planning to have 2 under 2?  And if so, why?  Not that I have to justify our decision to anyone but we don't have a reason for wanting this other than we just want it.

We would like 2 under 2.  DS is a terrible sleeper right now and that has not deterred us.  We haven't told anyone IRL to avoid the comments.

I would like to have another one soon.  My sister is 11 months older than me and my brother is 2 years younger than me.  I enjoyed us being so close in age.  I always figured I would have my kids close.  I would like to have 3 if possible.  I've learned to keep my plans to myself because people will give you their opinions whether you ask or not.  Good luck

We want the next one to be about 2 years apart from DD#2. We have two very far apart and now we want 2 close together.

We really do & have talked about it with family. They all support the idea (although we probably wouldnt change our minds even if they didnt)... However, were playing it by ear... financially, I dont know that we'll be ready then... But we'll see

This sounds like my DH! He just wants to enjoy DS, but I told him we do every day and we wouldn't stop, obviously! lol If we had a house and DH wasn't still laid off, I think I would have a better chance of having two under two....but, for now, DH is winning (it was our original plan to wait, but I can't! I love having my son!) I think it would be great to have the siblings so close in age!

We are going to start trying soon, and it is annoying when people tell us that we are crazy and even go as far to talk us out of it.  My dh and I are both 31 and we want to have at least 3 and we have been togother for 14 years already so why should we wait.

Yes we do want them close in age as well. But as crazy as it seems I want to loose my weight from this one first, otherwise my clothes will NEVER fit again. GL!
