Re: Teeth whitening:

  • Everything I've read says real no-no. I'd tend to agree since you could absorb some of it through your gums.  I'd ask your OB to be sure though.

  • You know I was wondering the same thing today.

  • I was at the dentist today and she brought this up to me - I didn't ask - she said "you're not bleaching right? Don't do that." So, I would say it's a don't. However, I would think tooth paste with teeth whitining would be okay.
  • i asked my ob about crest whitening strips...she said it's fine.
  • REAL NoNo!

I had tooth surgery and they recommended whitening before the final corrections...but when they found out I was pregnant they said no, but check with your OB, my OB said absolutely not. I used Arm & Hammer whitening toothpaste and it actually worked fairly well when used 3x a day!

  • I am thinking real NO NO, so I have been using baking soda, just dipping my tootbrush right into the container I store it in. It seems to work better for me.
