I'm really sad. I've had my convertible 'stang since college graduation. It was my gift to myself. I really don't want to give him up and get back into car payments. BOO.

If you really like Ford, I have a Fusion SEL, and I LOVE it. I bought it in 2006. It is the 2007 model.
It has 4 doors, but the SEL version drives like a sports car. I don't know what I am going to do when it needs to be replaced someday...hopefully Ford is still making them.
We looked at a few options today including: Ford Freestyle, Suburu Outback, Chevy Trailblazer, Chevy Impala, Saturn SUV (Can't remember the exact model) and a Ford Taurus. We are looking for a used vehicle to cut down on the payments and cost, but a few of these were new enough to still be in warranty. (We went to a Repo lot that my Dad knows). I hate to profit off someone's misfortune but you do what you gotta do.
Our biggest problem is finding one that is roomy enough for DH. Pushing 6'7 he just can't fit into some vehicles comfortably (thus why he can't drive my mustang).
Any recommendations? (I like the Chrysler 300's but we haven't found one on a used lot yet).

Re: I think we are going Mommy Mobile Shopping
Can you just get a new one and keep that on for fun? Or sell it privately?
Trading in sucks. You could sell it for more than you would get at the dealer.
