In the fall, your garage serves as an additional fridge keeping your beverages such as diet coke the perfect temperate.

And in the winter, your garage serves as an additonal freezer keeping all of your Thanksgiving/Christmas meals frosty cold when you have no more room in your own freezer.  It's awesome!

Same thing here. Winter parties where fridge room is limited, we are always able to find a snowbank to put beers in and then in the Spring we find some stragglers when the snow melts.

I'm from Alaska and during the winter college kids would hang their meat or whatever frozens they had, out their dorm room windows to keep it frozen.  Nothing like keeping ice cream or burger at 40 below!
