what are you wearing to winter shower?

My shower is Nov. 15, I'll be about 28 weeks.  We are doing it early to avoid all the holiday stuff.  What should I wear???   Normally I would think cute dress, but it's going to be cold and I don't want to spend money on a dress I will probably only wear once.  Could I dress up cute dark jeans or is that too casual?

If you are a jeans type of girl, just be yourself and go with the jeans. ?My shower will probably be in February and I will hopefully find a cute sweater dress and then wear some leggings and boots with it! ?Just do what you feel comfortable with... it's your shower!

Mine will be first week of feb... and I'll most likely be in jeans with a nice top.

I think it totally depends on the shower you are having.  I had one co-ed family shower that was pretty low key, so jeans and a cute top would have been fine (although I did wear a dress).  My other shower was given by a friend who did it more like a cocktail party - so it was more appropriate to wear a dress.  My showers were in Feb or March and I just bought a cute cardigan to go with a short sleeve dress.  I really wasnt cold at all.

Same for me (though my shower is a week earlier, but same weeks along) and I was thinking of getting a cute sweater dress and tights.

My shower is November 22nd - I'll be about 29 weeks.  We're also doing it early to avoid the holiday craziness.    I'm wearing black pants and a nice sweater.  It'll be too cold to wear a dress!

I am wearing this dress from the Gap when I'm 28 weeks in November, and I plan on wearing flats though.

Mine is next week in cold Nebraska- I picked up some nice courdoroys and a sweater last night to wear. We're all pretty casual so a dress would have been overkill.

My shower was last week, at home (Michigan), and I wore a pair of skinny maternity jeans, a hot pink shirt, a scarf to punch it up some, and some knee high slouch boots.  It kicked arse, if I do say so myself.

Mine is in Dec. and I'll probably wear black pants (the most comfortable thing I own right now) and a cute sweater. Shoot. I think I already wore that to a luncheon. Well, I can switch up the sweater and might own something different by then! Seriously, wear whatever makes you comfortable and is appropriate for the location. Or, buy some tights (Target) and wear a dress with sweater!

I am wearing dark jeans with a super cute black top and some cute ballet flats. I will probably add some fun accessories. My shower is at my parent's house so it will be fairly casual.  HTH!

Mine is Dec. 6...I will also be 28 weeks, and I was thinking about wearing khakis or black pants and a cute top...dress it up with some jewelry. I haven't decided for sure yet, though. We'll see! jeans might be a little casual, but I see how it could be stillish too. Whatever you like, really. It's your shower
