It has been pretty hot here these past 2 days. My feet and ankles are
swollen by the end of the day. The swelling goes down by the
morning. At what point does swelling become a problem? TIA
Thanks!! Good to know that your doc isn't too worried. I try to sit as much as possible during the day but teaching 1st grade that isn't really possible. Plus my school doesn't have A/C :-(. I see my doc next week so I'll ask her too.
My swelling also started around 17 weeks. Drink TONS of water and try to avoid salty foods if possible. My feet/ankles were so bad but it was just the way it was for the rest of my pregnancy water/low-salt helped but I still had Fred Flinstone feet. I lived in flop-flops.
Mine were really uncomfortable at the end. As much as you can also elevate your feet, it didn't always help but they did usually feel slightly better. Lots of fluids!!! Also, for me, after I delivered the swelling got even worse for a few days. But it is now gone and I love looking at my normal ankles!!
Re: Swollen feet & ankles
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
