about 18 weeks. I wouldn't describe it as flutters or butterflies. It's like muscle twinges. But now he moves A LOT!! Hubby got to feel him last night too!
Wyatt felt like "squirmies" which I told people because it sounded better than saying it felt like bunch of worms wriggling in my stomach. I felt him around 16 weeks. I haven't felt that with this one, but I have felt little taps, which could be baby or just muscle twitches so I won't commit. I turned 17 weeks yesterday (my ticker is slightly off).
I just felt the baby for the first time earlier this week - I believe that my tilted uterus and placenta previa have a lot to do with not feeling anything sooner. I didn't feel butterflies per say, rather "pops" - like an air bubble popping to the surface kind of feeling... very cool.

The way I described my first little movements to my doctor was "Its kind of like you're in a pool and someone swims by you, you know how you can feel the water move around you? Its like that but just right in this litte area and inside." I told him I didn't know what it was but it just felt weird. He told me it was baby moving even though I was only 13 and a half weeks.
At 16w 6d. And there was NO mistaking what it was. Since then I feel it four or five times a day--especially when I'm sitting at my desk or sitting in the car. For me it feels like a snake moving around or sometimes like popcorn popping slowly.
In between 17 and 18 weeks I started feeling flutters. I started feeling actual kicks around 20 weeks, and DH felt Squirt kick for the first time last week at 22 weeks.
I felt DS first move at 16 weeks. It felt nothing like butterflies--more like a kitten rolling around in there. This time around, I felt the baby move around 14, almost 15 weeks.
