Alright guys...Honest opinions. I know they don't match at all...but do you think this combo looks super bad together? It seems like I can't find a Snugride that's not blue/brown or pink/brown...

So, what do you think? We won't know what the hitchhiker is for another week, but I want to stay as nuetral as possible anyway...
Re: Would This Look Terrible Together?
nah, it matches fine. as long as theyre compatable together. these some tan in the carseat... i think. right? i closed the tab.
youre golden. youre infant isn't going to care anyway hah
I asked DH what he thought they colour of the stroller was and he said, pink.
Pink? Seriously? DH are you freaking colour blind?
Lol, I knew it. >.< Bun told me it was fine, but it's not.
The stroller is actually ORANGE, and I can't find a regular snugride with anything but a tan base. I wish the Snugride came in Graco's Rittenhouse pattern...unfortunately, that pattern is only on the Snugride 32, and I can't figure out whether or not the 32 would be compatible with the stroller. >.<
I am going to get the stroller, and probably a Snugride, whether they look great together or not. I just wish I could find a better pattern.
Anybody got any suggestions?
Hmm....can I ask why you are set on the stroller? I mean, it's a great stoller but I am just wondering what features you like so I can maybe think of an alternative. I've looked at a TON of strollers and carseats so I have a bit of a mental library.
As pp said, your baby will not care at all what it looks like, and honestly, you'll have the stroller longer than the carseat (probably), so you don't want to compromise your stroller preference just to get something that coordinates better.
I like the stroller for the following things:
All Terrain (this is uber important, as we live in an area with very few sidewalks, and a lot of outdoor living)
Sturdy Construction (for obvious reasons)
Carseat Compatible
Height Adjustable (I am 5'2", Bun is 6'1")
Not too heavy (a little heavier than I'd like, honestly, but less than 40 pounds)
and, of the utmost importance... Price. Actually, when I showed my dad today he flipped because it was $160. Seriously. He was like, that's way too much to spend on a stroller...but I feel like this is a stroller I will use until the Hitchhiker doesn't really need a stroller anymore, justifying the price.
There is another color option for the stroller (at BRU, not Wal-Mart, but that's fine) that's here:

But honestly...I don't like it nearly as much as the orange. :S It looks so drab to me.
I've seen a lot of pictures. It looks like kind of a dark khaki orange to me, burnt orange/brown. Nothing goes with that. Lol. Seriously, nothing.
This is the question I'm struggling with...Does it? 'Cause I know the Snug Ride 32 base is different than the Snug Ride base...and with different bases, would they be compatible in the same stroller?
Then again, there are like, 5 brands there...so...maybe so. I am just concerned about it not working together. There are a couple patterns of the 32 that I think could work, but I don't want to register for something that won't be compatible.

You could email them and ask...
Here's a SnugRide that's neutral - try a different store to get better patterns - we found that the typical ones (BRU, BBB, Walmart, etc) all have same gender specific patterns. Kohl's is a good option too if you need to get it in person?

Sorry - but that stroller really throws it off. Plus with the price you are paying for those two items you might as well just get a travel system from like Maclaren for the same price - matching.
Good luck - plust at 18 weeks I really think you have time to find what you need... don't rush to get something you might regret getting (colors wise I mean) later.
Good luck!
I would not bet on this - the 32 is much longer.
Look at babiesrus.com, they just added another pattern of Snugride called 'Pippin' that is green and brown, and very cute in person.
I've found that on-line site have a much bigger selection of fabrics for seats -- Baby Catalog, etc. You can usually get free shipping.
And to figure out if it fits, you could just go to the store and try it.
I was actually just going to suggest this! The Pippin pattern is green and brown elephants, and I think it would go much better with the burnt sienna of the stroller than a blue/green/brown. Plus, the Pippin SnugRide has front-adjust straps (which not all SnugRides have), and the reviews say that the fabric is soft and apparently not as sweat-inducing as the fabric on other SnugRides.
I'm excited about this, because I just found it at BRU yesterday, and it happens to solve all my own personal car seat questions.
