registry gifts.. all function no fun :(

i didnt register for any clothes or toys... everything on there is just a bunch of boring necessities (sp?) that should make the gift opening extra boring for everyone and also how should i react while opening, i definetly cant oh and ah over a wipe warmer or bottles.. hmmm

You don't need to register for them really- you will get  a ton even if you didnt want them.

Yeah but you will probably get "fun" stuff that's not on your registry from some people. When I go to a shower, I usually buy something from the registry, and then a little something extra that I think is cute. I think a lot of people do that. Don't worry, there will be plenty to oooh and ahh over.

don't worry, everyone will add to the gifts - bibs, onesies, rattles, etc..that you can ooh and aah over. People live for that stuff - they love buying a little something for the baby in addition to the "essentials".

well not everyone is going to shop off your registry, so there will still be items that you will be surprised about. ?I'm sure people will buy cute outfits and little toys, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. ?People don't really want to buy boring gifts either, so maybe they will pick out a boring gift on your registry and then pick something fun like clothes or toys or something. ?Don't worry!

Don't worry about it.  If people know you are having a girl, believe me, you will get lots of cute, fun, frilly, girly stuff - whether you register for it or not.

Yeah you'll probably get clothes anyway...those are the little surprises.  Have fun at your shower!
