My friend makes handpainted frames and little wall or door plaques with the baby's name painted on them. They're adorable and I totally plan on having her do that when our little one arrives. What if you made something like that or had it made? Something personal would be nice. Otherwise, some cute clothes are always a good choice.

I usually send a personalized blanket with the baby's name and birth date along with a stuffed animal.
