Thank you! I had a middle school teacher that taught us that there is no need for the word irregardless, because you can just use the word regardless itself. However, I hear and see it all the time.

I think that I heard that irregardless just was entered as a new word in the dictionary. So annoying. But in a wold where people are "good" vs well/fine when asked how are you....What do you expect?!

This and "ain't" & "panties". For some reason those words just bug me.

DH also hates the word moist.
I hate when people pronounce the word "immature" as "em-ma-tour" rather than "em-ma-chur". It's an acceptable pronunciation but it bugs me.
It drives me insane when people say "dia-bee-tus" when talking about diaBETes.
Its like nails on a chalkboard for me.
