(because the OB thinks that may be the next step. we'll decide what we're doing soon. we (meaning the mr. and I) are still discussing)
Doc's response?
"Oh. Well. That should shoot your migraines through the roof nicely"
Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence doc
Re: so I told my uber-headache-doc that I might try clomid today...
The nurse said she's pulling for it to get better instead...
but she isn't especially hopeful.
But they're nice about it. and they really really are the 'best of the best' in this field.
(although the doctor? he's well intentioned. And nice. and has a decent bedside manner most of the time.
And should NOT be allowed to talk to patients dealing w/ IF.
Because he's the sort of idiot who says things like "well, you know, just relax and make plans to adopt and you'll get PG". Really dude? He made 3 or 4 comments and he was damn lucky that I was in a good mood today so I didn't get super pissy.
[that and, I had a migraine and don't like to be confrontational when I've got 'em, because it makes it worse. Because I woke up in enough pain that I couldn't open my eyes...the light from the clock was burning my skull when I did--so I had to send the Mr. for an ice pak and a coke at 4 am--couldn't take good drugs and then drive to the doc's 2 hours later. ])
I hate doctors like that. I guess just remind yourself that he's a neurologist (I'm assuming anyway) and they don't really know shiit about the reproductive cycle. As long as he's good with the migraines that's what's important.
I hope your migraine is better!
yeah, neurologist.
The nurse (I have an assigned nurse that I see every 2-3 months) and I have chatted a lot--she had IF and has 3 lovely adopted children so she gave the doc a few icy glares and comments)
I am better this afternoon--vicoden helps :-)
