I have the roundabout. Main reason was we wanted the safety of Britax but didn't want to pay a small fortune. We have a boy and actually found a collegiate one online, so we have an LSU carseat. Not sure if they carry those anymore, almost 2 years ago.
If your LO is moderately tall he'll outgrow the Roundabout really quickly. I'm probably going to get the Roundabout 50 (new this year) as it goes to 50 inches in height (more than the regular Roundabout, less than the Marathon). It is still smaller than their other behemoth seats that I don't want to have RF in my car.
My DH and I have Boulevards. My mom has a Roundabout in her car.
I like that the Boulevards have the side impact protection (the wing things). You can do a side by side comparison on Britax's website, which is nice.
I think the Marathon is a great seat. When we travel, we take my mom's seat because it's smaller and easier to fit on the airplane, but I'm glad we have the bigger seats.
We have the Boulevard in the Huntington pattern. It's not that pretty, but I got it in a gender neutral pattern. Obviously we'll have to buy a second set of seats for this baby, and if it's a boy, he'll get the one my DD currently rides in, because it's basically just tan. And I'm buying the Shannon pattern

Also, I see the pp mentioned she didn't want a large seat RF in her car? My DD will be 17 months next week and is still very comfortably rear facing in her behemoth of a Boulevard I plan on keeping her that way until her 2nd birthday.
And she's a larger kid...33 inches tall and 24 pounds at her 15 month appt., so goodness only knows what she is now.

We have Marathons. My almost three year old is still RF in it comfortably and it fits ok RF behind the passenger seat in my Toyota Matrix which is not the biggest of cars. One of my daughter's seats is Cowmooflage pattern and it would be perfectly appropriate for a boy. It's so cute! Also look for sales/coupon codes, I've bought all three marathons for $210 max.

Yes, I don't want a larger seat RF due to the size of the car, not the RF issue or comfort of the child. I plan to RF as long as possible which is why I am going to get a seat that the child will most likely be too tall for after we get to 2 years + and FF (unlike the Boulevard or similar seats with very high weight/height limits). At that point I'll buy another to use FF exclusively and use the smaller RF seat for our next child.
