LO's earwax

LO has super waxy ears. Anyone else's LO have this? Is it normal?

  • Yeah, his get pretty kinda gunky sometimes.  I also have to clean the milk out of the creases in his ears all the time.  His ears can get pretty gross (as well as his neck).

  • Yup...Matthew has major potatos coming out of his ears. 
  • I actually just asked the pedi today about DD's earwax issues. She said that "waxy ears" are hereditary and they shouldn't cause any problems as long as they're cleaned on a regular basis. My DH has always had super waxy ears so I'm sure DD will be thanking him for that in the future.
