    Viability day. It means your baby has a chance at survival at 24 weeks but could still have major complications at birth and learning disabilities on in life, but they COULD survive now and that's a big milestone.

    Just to add to the PP... 24 weeks is the age that a hospital will consider putting the baby on life support should it be born premature. This was what a NICU nurse in here said.
