2nd Trimester

I'm having trouble putting on shoes and socks..

... and my bump really isn't that big.  WTF happens when you have a big belly???  I never thought it would be so hard this early on.  I have to kind of twist to the side in a weird uncomfortable position in order to get them on.

Ha ha!  I'm just imagining waking up my husband every morning before I go to work to have him help me with my shoes...  Oh we would only have one child if I had to do that...  LOL!

  • I've had to lay on the bed to put these on so I don't topple forward. Its too early for this!! Smile

  • I ordered new winter boots yesterday for this very reason.  My normal winter boots are hiking boots that you have to lace up and tie each time...so not going to happen.  I ordered fake-uggs from Old Navy and can't wait to just slip them on.  :)

  • I only wear flip flops or ballet flats.

  • Me too!  This morning I broke down & had to ask DH to put my socks & shoes on for me.  Looks like he'll be doing this for the next few months ;)
  • oh thank goodness!! i was worried i was the only horribly awkward bumpy on here. i can still get them on myself .... but it's iffy some days.
  • I feel the same way! And I keep wondering how I'm going to manage when I'm actually big. It just feels like I'm squishing the baby or something when I bend over and it makes me feel uncomfortable...I'm sure we're not doing any damage though Stick out tongue
