Really cute DIY C-mas ornament

Some of you with older toddlers might be able to do this with your child or just do it on your own if you are feeling crafty. 

I was searching for DIY ornaments made with toilet paper rolls and I came across this tutorial.  I made the 2 below and I think they turned out really cute.  I plan to make many more in lots of fun colors. 

They turn out better if your roll has not been flattened in any way.  Also, I painted the roll so the brown wouldn't show through and I only glittered the outside to conserve glitter.
